Oil Change in Hurst, TX at 380 Mid-Cities Boulevard

Took my Ram here yesterday after a long week of work because I was too tired to get out, sit in a less than comfortable chair somewhere for 20-30 minutes, and climb back in. It was just one more thing I had to make myself do before the end of the week, and was exhausted. I stopped and got my dog from home because I'm needing every opportunity to get him out of the house with as much as I work. There is another Take 5 location that is closer to me (having realized this after returning home) but since I had such a good experience with this one, I will continue to bring my business here. The manager on duty Elijah is the young man (I assume) to do most of his talking with me, answering any questions as I was a first time patron and wanted to know their pricing, different levels of services, etc. I have worked in the auto industry for around a total of fifteen years, and like to play this card close to the vest because I am a woman, meaning shops (in the past) have tried to either A) take full advantage because my gender obviously equates my level of knowledge or B) try to explain my area of expertise to me anyway. It's a sort of test I like to give business to discern their level of integrity, and #528 passed with flying colors. They were: Practically giddy around my dog in the passenger seat, who LOVED the attention. Up front about my engine air filter being fine, but that I should replace my cabin. Presented me with dipstick level and old cabin filter as proof of service and need for replacement, respectively. Showed me a very clean picture of my vehicle's carfax, item by item. When asked about the rear diff fluid needing to be replaced based on current mileage, the carfax was again cited as a good indicator that it had not yet been done. I asked how much for the rear diff, they said 99, to which I said "I may wait until next time" (which was not a ploy to grab at a discount) but the MoD did not hesitate to offer me one on top of the email coupon for the oil change that I was also able to get. I replied with "you know what, let's do it". The technicians were very nice throughout, talkative and kind to both me and my dog (which, honestly, the latter won me over wholeheartedly). It is clear to me that this business (and their employees) not only enjoy what they do, but go out of their way to make sure that their clients get what they need at an affordable price. I spent around $230 and some change for: A "complete" oil change (the middle tier of oil change packages) containing 7 quarts of their advanced full synthetic oil plus filter New cabin filter Rear differential fluid change This is with nearly $50 in discounts as well. I will return the next time my truck is in need of fluid maintenance. Matheson was also on my invoice as having performed pit duties, but there were maybe 3-4 gentleman I conversed with in total, all with smiles on their faces. Thank you.

These guys are WONDERFUL! I have used them a couple of times when I find I have a low tire leaving Camp Gladiator early in the morning and they have been a lifesaver as I had a long drive home. They did inspection for me yesterday and were professional, friendly and explained process not to mention I was in and out and back on road home in under 20 minutes!

Drove all around NRH and Colleyville trying to find someone to do my state inspection. Matheson is my usual for oil changes and he called around until he could get someone there to do it for me. 10/10 no hesitation, good guys, personable. Good place on 26 and mid cities blvd

I’ve been using Take 5 for the last couple years and just got a new vehicle recently and took it in for his first oil change and check up… They always check all the filters and fluid and recommend replacement if necessary but do not use harsh sales tactics - and there is no pressure to buy!
