The whole operation was absurdly efficient. Before I could even finish awkwardly pretending not to make eye contact through the windshield, they had already changed the oil, checked the fluids, inspected the tires, and possibly solved several international conflicts. At one point, three employees simultaneously shouted numbers and measurements back and forth like they were launching a space shuttle. I felt less like I was getting an oil change and more like my 2016 minivan was preparing for orbital re-entry. The technician showed me the air filter like a medieval doctor presenting evidence of a curse being lifted from the kingdom. Five minutes later my engine was running so smooth I briefly considered entering my car into the Kentucky Derby. When I drove away, my car felt younger, faster, and emotionally supported. The check engine light looked afraid to ever come back on again.

They did a great job getting the old change done and checking tires and fluids. We are grateful that they took extra time to explain what was discovered with the axel and encouraged us to consider future maintenance before travel.
