I came here after getting an oil change gone wrong at Walmart on Malabar. My car was losing oil fast. I had never had issues at Walmart before, but with FRAM going out of business/being phased out by Walmart, they switched to some cheaper oil filters. I’ll come back to this point later. By the time I got off work, almost every oil place or shop nearby was closed - except Take 5. When I arrived, it was about 7:20-7:30. There were 2-3 vehicles ahead of me. My wife went to speak to someone to see if there’s any chance I could get the car looked at, as we didn’t want our engine to blow due to no oil. Christopher came over to me, told me to pop the hood, checked the dipstick and, sure enough, oil level was getting real low. He instructed to turn the car off and sit tight while they finish on the other vehicles. He could have said no, sorry we’re closing soon and we still have other customers to get through. But he didn’t. So we patiently waited our turn. Once it was time, Chris came out, poured a little bit of oil just to keep the engine lubricated enough to pull the car into the bay. It was almost closing time at this point. While Johnathan finished up another customer next to us, Chris immediately got under the vehicle to look for the leak source. And he made sure to use his phone to video EVERYTHING from start to finish, so Walmart would be held liable for any potential damages. In the end, the culprit was a bad oil filter gasket. Walmart auto service management was skeptical of the possibility that their tech either didn’t lubricate the new gasket while installing or just flat-out didn’t replace it when installing a new filter. They actually said it’s probably due to the new filters they’re using since FRAM is being phased out and they will no longer have FRAM products at Walmart. He actually said the new ones they’re using now are lesser quality and I’m not the first customer with an issue as a result of the change. So if you want to properly maintain your engine/vehicle, I would advise you no longer go to Walmart. I had gone for years without issues. Both Johnathan and Chris stayed well past closing as they wrapped up work on my vehicle. In the end, it looks like we acted quickly enough where we likely avoided any engine damage. Both guys were stellar and worked incredibly well together, but Christopher is something special. He is a PHENOMENAL worker, with impeccable customer service and attention to detail. You don’t see that level of service nowadays, which is a shame. Chris deserves recognition from management. And hopefully the financial kind. A pat on the back is nice, but put some well earned cash in that young man’s pocket! I will also be reaching out to upper management and your parent company to make sure they know what a stellar job this location does. Thank you Chris, Johnathan, and Take 5.

So glad I went to Take 5! I usually go to another place but only T5 was open on Sunday. I'm glad I did! They noticed my coolant was severely overfilled. They rested it and even though it was only 15k miles since the last time it was changed, it has already gone bad because of the lack of airflow in the chamber. This was causing all sorts of issues and now it's all resolved. I was very grateful that they noticed and said something. Great service, very professional, and quick!

Great service. I had been to a another Take 5 prior and the process took almost 2 hours (which is standard for most oil shops and dealerships but you get to stay in your car). At this one it was literally 10 minutes from when I arrived to done and rolling out. It was like the commercial, I had planned to eat my lunch and do some work but it was "too fast." Everyone was courteous and pleasant. Great job.

Customer service was excellent. It was super hot that day they had like four cars in front of me . A worker came out and handed me a water. That was very much appreciated. They changed my air filter. They show me the oil stick when they finish changing the oil.. Very friendly staff there. The price was reasonable . I will be going back to get my oil changed there again….

Staff was amazing very helpful with answering all my concerns with truck even took time to show me how to properly check my oil I just wish couldn’t have them a bigger tip thank so much will be back with black Betty she ran so much better afterwards Shannon peacock roberts
