It was my first time at Take 5 Oil Change. I was a little apprehensive because I had a bad experience at Jiffy Lube in the past,so I was wondering if this place was owned by or anything like them because I didn't want to get ripped off and have my vehicle tampered with like Jiffy Lube did to my vehicle years ago.🤦♀️ So I figured I'd give Take 5 Oil Change a try seeing they had good reviews and were kind in the phone and I saw a Newport News Police car there so I figured it's a legitimate place! I had a great experience there today🙏👍☺️ The staff was really really nice, the first thing the young man who greeted me offered me a cold bottle of water! They do that for everyone! They worked great as a team, each one getting something checked (tire pressure, topping off fluids etc) so I felt like they were making the most of my time while the oil was draining. They explained their prices which were posted where you can see them and gave me the options of what I wanted done and I was able to use the 25% off coupon the company emailed me a few weeks ago. The price and experience was worth it for peace of mind and it was great I got to sit in my vehicle and watch everything being done. They also showed me my dirty air filter when the replaced it and the dipstick that the oil was new and up to the proper line on the dipstick.👍 It sure beat the typical oil change places where you have to go inside, let them write you an order ticket, put that behind everyone else's and hold your keys so you feel like a stuck hostage there until they decide to get you in after they work on big ticket items and you're there for hours!😵💫🤦♀️ I also loved that they had a staff of men and women technicians working together there! Great Teamwork!!👨🔧👩🔧 Except for the tax being high on the total it was a great experience and I'd highly recommend Take 5 Oil Change on Warwick Blvd down by Riverside Hospital. Thanks to the staff there for "pampering my ride" and your professional friendly service!
I’ve gone to Take 5 for the last few oil changes. The team is always professional and the service is always quick! For my last oil change I learned they no longer release the oil from the bottom but use this straw looking thing to vacuum the oil out. They check the filters and determined the cabin filter was good, but the air filter had seen better days
Great service.There was a line in the morning and the supervisor gave us bottled water and thanked us for waiting which I was shocked because you don’t see than some elsewhere you go.Very detailed and organized. All workers were helping each other out and went in extra mile with a friendly attitude. My was pleased with my oil change and would recommend
