Oil Change in Terrell, TX at 1260 FM 148.

There is nothing bad to say about this place, I arrived early morning to avoid the heat and was greeted right away with a cold water bottle. They explained the prices and walked me through everything they were doing. They also pour all the oil into your engine right infront of you and have you run your engine to check for leaks. Thank you Ashton (guy with the green hair) and Tony (cool voice guy that claimed to be the manager) lol both were very friendly! FYI, this place offers military discount with proof of ID.

I genuinely don't know what I would have done without Junior and Josiah at Take 5. I was in the middle of a cross-country road trip when my car lost its oil on the highway in Texas in nearly 100-degree heat. I was stranded with my dogs, had to have the car towed, and discovered that the drain plug had come out following an oil change I'd had done just six days earlier in North Carolina at another chain. And, because apparently the universe has a sense of humor, this all happened on the Friday night of Labor Day weekend. Junior and Josiah were absolutely incredible. They immediately went into problem-solving mode, figured out what had happened, helped get oil back into the engine, checked everything they could, and made sure I understood what I needed to have inspected at Hyundai the next morning. Matt jumped in and helped as well. But what really deserves recognition is how much they CARED. I was a woman traveling alone, far from home, with my dogs, after a genuinely scary experience on the highway, on a holiday weekend when my options for getting help were disappearing by the minute. Junior and Josiah were patient, thoughtful, reassuring, and determined to help me get somewhere safe. They treated me like a human being who needed help, and because of them I was able to get my dogs and myself safely to our hotel and get to Hyundai first thing the next morning for a full inspection. I hope Take 5 knows what exceptional people they have representing their company. Junior and Josiah deserve some serious recognition, and Matt deserves a shoutout for jumping in to help too. They turned what could have been an absolute nightmare of a holiday weekend into one of those experiences that reminds you how much good people matter when things go sideways. Junior and Josiah, thank you. Truly. You guys were exceptional. 10/10 for this team.

I always enjoy going to take 5. But the last like four times I’ve gone I’ve had to end up getting the most expensive oil because they’re “out” of the other ones. That’s a little hard when you’re living paycheck to paycheck with the current economy. And this last time I went I was in a new car. So it wasn’t just because my previous car was an older car. Other than that I have no complaints! It’s always fast service and the staff is always super nice!
