Oil Change in Mesquite, TX at 2214 N. Town East Blvd..

Oil change completed. The technician informed me the Differential had not been checked since the truck was manufactured in 2013! Still had the factory seal on the plug. I was very appreciative that the tech pointed this out and took care of it for me. It's honestly not something I would have thought about until it was destroyed. They were very busy on a Sunday after church but they still took time to explain things to me and balanced the pressure in all 4 tires. (I wish I knew the techs name that helped me. He deserves a shout out. It was 1pm Sunday 9/28/25 in case the boss reads this). The tech brought it to my attention the antifreeze was a little over filled, he took some out just to make sure the pressure did not build up. I thought the price was very reasonable, how do you put a price on a great crew that legitimately takes care of you and goes above and beyond an oil change? The absolutely did not push extras on me and pointed out a few things I may need to fix or get done next time. My third time here and will only service my truck here.

Eric is the kind of employee who truly stands out. He was kind, responsive, observant, respectful, and attentive from the moment we arrived. It was hot outside, and he noticed my sister and me and simply walked over with water—he did not wait for us to ask or make us feel like we were inconveniencing him. I was also in a meeting at one point, and Eric noticed right away and made an effort to be quiet and respectful. He never made me feel rushed or uncomfortable; instead, he continued providing excellent service, kept me informed, and brought his best attitude throughout the experience. This was my first time visiting the Take 5 Mesquite location, even though I’ve been a loyal Take 5 customer for several years, and I was genuinely impressed. Byron provided some of the best customer service I’ve experienced. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything without making me feel pressured into purchasing additional services. The entire team was welcoming, efficient, and made the oil change quick and hassle-free. They took the time to explain what they were doing, checked everything thoroughly, verified my oil level, topped off my fluids, and made sure my vehicle was ready to go before I left. I appreciated the attention to detail and the care they put into the service, it gave me confidence that the job was done right. I’ll definitely be coming back to this location for future oil changes and highly recommend Byron and his team. Five-star service all around! Thank you for making my first visit such a positive one.
