Oil Change in Bedford, TX at 2812 Central Dr..

Long time customer. Worst experience ever! Waited 1 hour and 20 min. I found out I had a 7 month oil period but the small tag said 5 month mileage. I get oil changes when the tag states. The mgr could have cared less that this happened. They had one crew working and it’s a busy location. They won’t see me again. My time is valuable to me but not to Take 5! I had just recommended them to a friend but called her back to cancel the recommendation.

Late in January 2026 on the snowy 20 deg Saturday, I saw the doors open at Take 5 on Central in Bedford, which seemed strange for a day this cold with few people out. I pulled in for an oil change and out came a young lady dressed for the weather and she greeted me with a smile and offered me a very cold bottle of water. I asked for an oil change and as I pulled in, I realized she was the only one there. Despite the cold, she seemed to follow the safety rules and was very thorough and professional. She even offered to the change the rear differential oil which I declined because I was cold sitting in the truck. The next week I went by to tell the manager what a great job she did and I found out she was the manager, although I did not catch her name. I will go back for the differential oil change soon! Great young employee!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I don’t normally write reviews this detailed, but Nick and Elijah at the Bedford Take 5 absolutely earned one. This was genuinely one of the best customer-service experiences I’ve had anywhere, not just at an oil-change shop. From the moment I pulled in, Nick and Elijah were professional, friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and completely on top of what they were doing. What impressed me most wasn’t simply that they did the job correctly and quickly—it was the way they handled the entire experience. They communicated clearly, worked extremely well together, paid attention to the details, and treated me and my vehicle with respect. Nothing felt rushed even though they were efficient. I never felt like I was just another car they needed to move through the bay. They took the time to explain what they were doing and made sure I understood everything without making the process complicated or trying to pressure me. You can tell when employees are simply completing the required steps, and you can also tell when people genuinely take pride in doing their job well. Nick and Elijah were the second kind. Their teamwork was especially impressive. They communicated with each other, stayed organized, and handled the service like people who understood that doing the job correctly matters just as much as doing it quickly. That’s exactly the combination you want when you’re trusting someone with your vehicle. I’ve been through plenty of businesses where “customer service” feels like something employees are required to say. This wasn’t that. Nick and Elijah were personable, professional and genuinely helpful from beginning to end. Take 5 management: these are two employees worth recognizing. Nick and Elijah represented your company exceptionally well today. Employees like them are the reason a customer remembers a particular location instead of simply remembering where they happened to get an oil change. I came in needing an oil change. I left thinking, this is the Take 5 I’ll come back to. Excellent work, Nick and Elijah. You both earned every one of these five stars.
