Oil Change in Sumter, SC at 1142 Broad St.

These young men and woman truly surprised me. The one I assumed was the manager approached me with a bottle of water. Not sure how he knew I truly needed it. He gave all the orders and the team took action quickly. They showed me they worked very well together. I forgot the young lady’s name but she did the oil change. She was very pretty, lashes, nails and long hair. I was very impressed. Professional, courteous, and kind. The whole team did the meaningful extra. You have to know your bible to understand that. My very first time going to Take 5, and I will DEFINITELY be back!!!! Customer service is EXCELLENT, and the staff is very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and honest!❤️ As a female, sometimes we are very afraid that companies will take advantage of us due to some of our lack of knowledge about car repairs and care. But, I felt very comfortable trusting everything that the staff recommended doing. Thank y’all so much for looking out for me!❤️ See y’all soon!

Edit: I left the original review after my visit at Take 5 on October 1, 2026. I fully expected once I left the review that I would get a generic type response to my review offering an apology for the poor service. On October 3, I received a phone call from the manager and the assistant manager of this location - yes, TWO separate phone calls. They assured me that what I experienced was NOT what is to be expected at Take 5. They let me know that the employees who serviced my vehicle were dealt with and asked that I give them another chance so that I can see what their company truly stands for. I will give them another chance - and wanted to edit my review with additional information. It was pretty impressive the level of attention and quick action that was taken by the management team. Went in for an oil change - , told one price for an air filter and charged a completely different- far higher price. Technicians openly dropped F Bombs and smoked vapes as I sat in my vehicle. I called the number on my receipt to speak with management about the experience and no one answered. Very new to the area and this was my first time at Take 5. I will not return.
