Oil Change Service W Arapaho Rd

I came to take 5 in Richardson TX to get my oil change. I met Raphael who was helping me out. Other places would still charge for an oil change even if I didn’t need one but he didn’t after explaining I still for over 1000 miles to go. He went on to explain my air filters and what they can cause and helped me make a decision. On top my car is hitting 50k miles and he helped me understand coolant exchange and why it’s important but never pushed me to purchase. I feel like I learned a lot about cars from him and his drive to make everyone ride comfortable. Truly grateful and I will come back to this location for him to work on my car again.

I have been using Take 5 oil Service for several years now. I’ve always had a great experience. Yesterday my engine started running rough and I needed immediate help. I pulled into the nearest Take 5 Service station. They were able to top off my oil. When my “check engine” light did not go off they were able to run a quick diagnostic as well. Because I’m a repeat customer they considered the additional oil a “top off” that they do with every oil change free of charge. And running the diagnostic helped me determine that my engine was not firing on one of the cylinders correctly. All this was done at no charge because I’m a repeat customer. Exceptional service always. I highly recommend them. Hats off to Zac, who was the technician that worked on my car at this location on Arapaho Road in Richardson TX.

Alex and Raphael were awesome! Greeted me quickly and the experience was a breeze from start to finish. I’d had an issue once at a different location and they made sure my concerns were addressed here. Alex even replaced a couple zip-ties for me that I have under my front bumper, which is far above and beyond anything I’d expect or ask of someone during a simple oil change. It was greatly appreciated that he offered and did so. Excellent service and would highly recommend this location.

Alex The store manager at the location on Arapaho in Richardson, Texas Change my oil and he put the Wrong type of oil. But instead of letting me drive off, knowing I would not know he did the right thing and said, sir I'm sorry. I made a mistake and corrected it. My hats off to Alex for being honest when nobody else would've known I'm sure he's a great employee. Take five is lucky to have him.

Alex gave us very informed and thorough diagnostics of the oil filter and fluids that made the process and future maintenance a whole lot clearer. While Alexander explained, Zack completed the oil process very quickly and efficiently. Great team. Great service and convenient location
