Oil Change in Houston, TX at 1901 W. Gray

I love taking my car here! I always have a positive experience. Raadam is the best. He is very knowledgeable, efficient and friendly! Most of the bad reviews are because of the wait time. If you choose to come during a busy hour, yes of course you are going to have to wait a while. Avoid coming during high traffic times and I promise these guys will have you in and out in less than 20 minutes. I am so thankful that they took me today on a Holiday, 10 minutes before they closed. Raadam went above and beyond for me even though they were closing. Thank you x10000!!

I love going to Take 5. I stop in for oil changes, top-offs, and annual inspections. It's so much easier just waiting in your car. They work really hard. They're super fast and very polite. They often have coupons so you can get a deal. They're courteous about scanning any coupon that you give them. If you go in just to get the oil topped-off, they don't make you feel awkward that you're not coming in for full service. You get treated with the same courtesy no matter what. Highly recommend!

The representative River is like an AI robot that was instructed to have nothing but A Class service. I brought my Jeep to get serviced and he treated me like I brought in a Rolls Royce. Nothing but cautious care and respect. Took their time with getting everything changed out and even managed to upsell to get an air filter. People like River deserves to be General Managers. Because I will definitely be coming back. Thank you to the entire team here for taking care of me.

The 3 gentlemen that were working at 7:00PM on 05/01/2026 were absolutely amazing. I had to get an oil change after work because my “Low Engine Oil” light came on, but was weary on doing that to the technicians because it was pouring rain and less than an hour from closing on a Friday and I hate to do that to customer service workers. In spite of all that they fixed me up, filled all my tires, changed out my wiper blades, the works and no bad vibes the whole time. I don’t leave reviews often, but I was shocked by the outstanding customer service and enthusiasm by these guys. Cheers. Truly.

This morning after my workout, I stopped by W. Gray Take 5 location around 7 AM thinking I was overdue for an oil change because of the date on my sticker. I was immediately greeted with a warm smile from Ernesto, who took the time to check my information and explain that the date on my sticker was only for a fluid top-off—not my oil change. What really stood out was his honesty. He let me know they could go ahead and do the service, but it would be unnecessary and essentially a waste of my money since my oil change wasn’t actually due yet. In a business where upselling is common, his transparency and integrity were refreshing. Ernesto’s friendly personality and genuine customer care completely won me over. Because of this experience alone, I can absolutely see myself becoming a loyal customer at this location. We’re often quick to leave reviews when we have a negative experience, but exceptional service like this deserves to be recognized. Kindness and honesty go a long way, and Ernesto delivered both.
