OIL CHANGE REVIEWS FOR TAKE 5 LOCATION #973
I’ve been to this place a handful of times, and with the new manager Rhett and employee Phill I finally feel comfortable going there. Old management I give this place a 1 star. New management I give it 5 stars. Previously I kept giving them a chance because I wanted to support the new local business in Springfield. Those chances led to them changing my coolant twice (I have 68k miles on my car, but they insisted and I had no idea what I needed), and.. they broke the piston on my glovebox. I met with one of the district managers who was filling in for Doug (old manager) and he said he would get me the part. Then I met with Doug and he said the same. Never got the part! Finally Rhett is taking care of it as of today. The new team is quick and they really know what they are talking about (especially Phill). I really hope this staff stays.
Very first time at a Take5 anywhere.PHE-NO-MENAL CUSTOMER SERVICE. I can go on and on and on about this experience. But I'll stick to the goal. Firstly, before I even officially pulled in for the service, I had a LOT of questions. Mostly, I was taking a road trip out of town and wanted to know if my car would make it. Phillip, who was ON DUTY that day, suggested that I first go to auto zone and have them check it out with their ODB(?) device. That turned out to be great advice, so I told him I was gonna come back simply because he'd already been helpful, even before servicing my car. So Alan is under the hood, and Phillip is at the computer beside me, while Im comfortably in my car. His personality is especially designed for customer service! It started with just him, explaining so much about my car to me that I've never known. So much! But by the end of the visit, the manager Rhett and 2 other associates all had a part in this absolutely wonderful experience. Just for instance, I now know exactly what the 5W 30 in 5W30 oil means. Because of Phillip, I NOW know THAT coolant goes bad, and HOW I can know for myself. I NOW know so much more, much more. And knowing feels great. And the fact that he was so forthcoming with every question I had, instead of the "lie about everything and trick 'em into coming back" mentality that I'm so familiar with regarding auto care facilities, they now have a LOYAL customer. I will GLADLY pay MY money, for the service AND customer service that day. Those gentlemen relieved me of so much stress that day could have had on me, and explained EVERYTHING they were doing and why it needed done every step of the way, and I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of. On the contrary, I didn't get swindled out of anything, I got more than my money's worth. You ALL did a WONDERFUL, COMMENDABLE job, but if Phillip hadn't FIRST been as amazing and helpful with all of the questions that I had before I even pulled in, I honestly wouldn't have come back. I would have just gone where I usually go, where the customer service is lackluster and Im not even sure if they did what they said they've done because its all secretive and out of sight. Literally, I can go on. Here's the finale, if Phillip and Alan and Rhett and the rest of the team on duty that day are an accurate representation of Take5, then it's Take5 til I die. (Well, my car that is). THANK YOU GUYS SOOOOOOO MUCH. It ended with hugs. I was so relieved I literally hugged them. Then I drove to Cincinnati secure about my vehicle to visit with my son and my grandbabies. I cant thank you guys enough. See you next month for the coolant flush!🙏🏾🙏🏾 P.S. I also now know that my car doesn't have a cabin filter. I didn't even know that was a thing before then.
Me and my mom came in to get an oil change, and When we got there, it was a little bit of a wait, but Phillip Came right over to us to apologize and gave me and my mom a couple bottled waters, which were definitely needed at that time ! But overall, Philip Took care of us and he did an amazing job. He’s funny he’s bright, And even though we had to Wait a little bit the whole time he made sure we were comfortable. And the New owner that took over is making things right, he makes sure his customers leave happy and makes you feel important. I highly recommend going to them for an oil change etc! because me and my mom are definitely going to be coming back!
The guy that took care of me was amazing! He was very good with my grandson as well. I think his name was Phillip. I'm awful with names. But he ḥas is professional, and really friendly! His knowledge and smile made me feel confident that I could trust him in taking care of my vehicle. I would recommend Take 5 to everybody! Thank you kind sir. I appreciate you very much. I'll make sure to keep coming back. You deserve employee of the month.
Took my son's car in for an oil change. Both bays had current customers, but I was greeted so quickly after pulling in. They had 2 new people in training but they kept me informed. I lowered my window and pulled out my project. They look like they were having technical issues but solving on the fly My card wouldn't run, so I charged it another way. They got good people here.
