Oil Change in Hopkins, MN at 819 Cambridge St

I first went to Valvoline, I was right next to it. Of course they were already closed. It was 7:30pm. I don't know why I tried, I've always had issues. So, I found that Take 5 was open. I drove over and was immediately greeted by Noah, he was friendly and confident. He asked a couple of questions and then I was guided in. All the crew were amazing. They worked together like a well oiled machine. I couldn't tell you how long it took because I was so involved I lost track of time. Then I was told it was done. Wow! Next thing I know I was being guided out. I have never in my 10 years+ had an experience like this at Valvoline. I am so glad I decided to Take 5.

I have come to Hopkins to Take 5 exclusively for the last 2 to 3 years when it comes to getting my oil changed, etc. I moved to Eagan a handful of years ago, yet I still make the drive because of the consistency in service, transparency, and their consultative nature. I visited Take 5 a couple days ago and had the pleasure of having Noah assist me. I told him I was there to get my oil changed, and after looking up my history, he explained that due to the type of oil I had utilized during my last oil change. I wasn’t due for another 3000 miles. He told me that he could definitely do the oil change if I really wanted to. It is apparent that this team delivers a consistent message every time I come to them. They are looking for long-term, loyal customers who appreciate the opportunity to be told the truth, and not be taken advantage of. If you want to experience something that is the exception versus the rule when it comes to getting your oil changed and be able to stay in your car instead of sitting in a cold waiting room, then you definitely should check them out. Also, please send out coupons On a semi regular basis and they are not your typical five dollars off, they are usually 10 to 15% off and in this most recent visit I had a 25% off celebrating Mother’s Day. Very fast service. These guys were were polite, straight up, and took care in their work. Checked everything out and weren't pushy on upgrades. It's not the closest place to home, but I will be giving them my business going forward so long as the service remains as great as this was. If I would have had cash I would have thrown them lunch money. Next time I will. Good job guys.

I was greeting promptly and got in right away! As a woman I’m afraid of being taken advantage of. But not here! Been coming here for years! Brandon was the one who helped me. He was friendly, personable and knowledgeable. I appreciated that he didn’t try to upsell me on things I don’t need like other places. I also appreciate Tyrone for his help during my service! I stopped in yesterday for an oil change and had a great experience from start to finish. The team was welcoming right away and even offered me a complimentary water while I waited. Brasil, the store manager, did an excellent job clearly explaining the services being performed. In addition to the oil change, they topped off my tire pressure, refilled the antifreeze, and checked my car’s filter. Tyrone and Bryan were also very helpful, and the whole visit was quick and efficient. I highly recommend this location and will definitely be returning!
