Oil Change in Caldwell, ID at 5209 Cleveland Blvd

First time into this shop/franchise. So far, I am pleased with their service. The first point of contact, I was greeted with an ice cold bottle of water. Totally unexpected, highly appreciated. I waited maybe 15 minutes before they got started (2 other rigs in the bay before I pulled in). They found that Dennis Dillon cross threaded my drain plug (they replaced it) and has been over tightening the oil filter. Jesse (and another young guy, sorry I forgot your name) walked me thru all the pricing and options and was very informed. The owner of this location was present and engaged with his employees. They all seemed to have a great working relationship. Efficient, clean, and quick. I will most likely return to this location since it is much quicker than the Service Department and less expensive. BUT ABOVE EVERYTHING ELSE, they did not try to sell me anything I did not need. My air filter was like new so, they put it back in vs just charging me for one. They also took the time to confirm that I did NOT have a cabin air filter and showed me that at some point my heater core had been replaced. They checked the door for PSI specifications, but also asked if I had a preference. They discussed the differentials and informed my that I was a bit low on coolant and recommend a flush. But, they did not push the point and were very understanding on the financial limit for the day. Thank you! It was a great first impression.

I had such an amazing experience at Discount Tire and truly can’t recommend them enough. They went above and beyond to help me out when I really needed it. Not only did they take care of replacing my tire quickly and professionally, but they also caught a problem spot on another tire that I hadn’t even noticed which honestly could have turned into a much bigger issue down the road. What really stood out to me was how much they genuinely cared. They took the time to explain everything, made sure I felt safe driving away, and even recommended a trusted local place to help me get a full set of new tires when I’m ready. That kind of honesty and customer care is rare. I left feeling taken care of, informed, and so grateful. Thank you for looking out for me and making what could’ve been a stressful situation so easy.

I had a really great experience getting my oil changed here. The team was professional, friendly, and worked efficiently to get everything done without a long wait. They took the time to explain what they were doing and made sure my car was in good shape before I left. What really stood out was their honesty and customer care—they noticed my coolant was low and offered me a discount on a coolant flush, which I truly appreciated. It’s not often you find a place that looks out for you like that instead of just doing the basics. Overall, excellent service, fair pricing, and a crew that clearly takes pride in their work. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending them to others.

Very polite and quick. I just in the end didn't like how much it costs. Even with a coupon that said it was worth 25 dollars but the website said it could take up to 50% off of your oil change when there was no way possible when the cheapest oil change was 99.99 and then they have a 5 dollar disposal fee to get rid of the oil from your car. Plus the price only covers 5 quarts and my car takes 6 apparently so I got charged extra for that too. What happened to the 30 to 40 dollar oil changes. If I could have got into where I normally go it would have been 50 dollars cheaper. But I needed it right then. So for a hundred dollars their 25 dollar coupon paid for a extra quart of oil and 5 dollar disposal fee. Nothing against the employee's they were great the blindside of prices sucked and there was even a discount saying for veterans 25% off which ended up being what their coupon was. Just didn't understand the possibility of 50% off and then the 3 options there was no way it would of been 50% off any of them with it only being good for 25 dollars. False advertisement from the website

It was so nice to be greeted with a smiling face and two bottles of waters. The service was fast and efficient. We will definitely be taking our vehicles there again for their oil changes. One thing to remember is that they go based on 5 quarts of oil, so because our vehicle takes 7 quarts, that is an up charge of 2 quarts at $9.99 a quart. Either way we will be taking our vehicles there every time they need an oil change. It’s so nice to sit in your car while they work. The process is very thorough and multiple employees verify that the caps are on tight. They also require you to turn your car on and then off, and then they pull, wipe, and pull your dipstick out again and show you where it’s at on the line. Great job James, Jesse, Noah, and the woman who drained the oil!
