Oil Change in Wichita, KS at 3630 N Maize Rd.

I've been coming to Take 5 Oil Change since October, when I bought my "new-to-me" car, and I've never had any issues with their service. Yesterday was my fourth visit, and unfortunately, it was the first time something went wrong. While I was in the service bay, the employees were friendly, but they weren't as communicative as they had been during my previous visits. They didn't explain what they were doing throughout the process like they normally do. About 30 minutes after leaving, my car suddenly went into "limp mode," wouldn't go over 30 mph, and the master warning light came on. I immediately called the store and asked how to file a complaint. They gave me the district manager's phone number, and after I explained the situation and let him know that Take 5 has been the only place to service my vehicle since I bought it, they acted immediately. The store manager, Tyler, came to my location to diagnose the problem. They paid to have my car towed back to the shop, discovered that the engine had been overfilled with oil, and corrected the issue at no cost to me. Mistakes happen, but what truly matters is how a business responds. Take 5 took full responsibility, treated me with kindness and respect, and made the situation right without hesitation. Their customer service during the entire ordeal was outstanding. Because of the way they handled everything, they have earned my trust and my continued business. I would absolutely give Tyler 10 stars if I could. Thank you to Tyler and the team for taking care of me—I truly appreciate the professionalism and the effort you put into making things right.

Really like this group and location. I usually change oil myself, but when I don't have time I bring it here. Must be doing something right because my 2017 Ford Expedition has 345,000 miles on it and still going! I am disappointed they've changed to Pennzoil now instead of Mobile One, but they let me bring my own oil so I can keep with what my car is used to. They're fast, friendly and good at what they do. I really appreciate them!

I was in and out in under 15 minutes. They offered me new windshield wipers at a discount so I had them replace my old ones. Alex was the one helping me out and he did a fantastic job. I will never go to Walmart and wait over a hour again for a sketchy oil change. Oh and the cold bottle water was a plus.
