Oil Change in Jacksonville, FL at 8056 Phillips Hwy.

This location restored my faith in Take 5!!! Ray was a literal “Ray” of sunshine! He was respectful without trying to upsell, and ensured I was getting the correct oil and best value. His overall positive attitude while working in the FL heat was such a refreshing experience. Boe also gets 5 stars, we didn’t speak much but he was working in tandem with Ray and they had a good thing going. I used to always use Take 5 until I had a few bad experiences at different locations in Texas- glad I took a chance at this location and will definitely be back next time service is due!

The mechanics were very polite, courteous and attentive to me the minute I arrived. I always hate getting my oil changed anywhere because of all the upselling and pressure to spend more money. I did not get that at all, visiting the Take 5 on Philips highway. I live in Macclenny, a small town almost an hour away from Jacksonville. There are a few places in town where I can get my oil changed cheaper, but there’s always a hassle and upselling. The crew at Take 5 didn’t do that, in fact, they presented me with ways to save money and still get the most out of my visit. I ended up getting an air filter (which I needed) and in doing so, I saved myself an extra $10-$15. Not to mention they did a thorough check of my fluid level and tire pressures on my car. They refilled them and added air without any problems. In my eyes, that’s going above and beyond. I definitely won’t mind driving 45-60 minutes away to get my oil changed next time with service like that.

I truly appreciate the SUPERIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE ETIQUETTE that I received from the technician yesterday! Unfortunately, my initial 7:15AM appointment with Buick was cancelled without notice, and I didn’t learn of the cancellation until I was headed to the appointment at 6:45AM. Either way, the technician Jay at Take 5 completed the oil change service and he answered all questions that I asked that were related to my car.
