I honestly cannot say enough good things about the Take 5 team, especially Ben and Chance. They absolutely went above and beyond for me today, and I am incredibly grateful for the way they treated me. I came in expecting to get my usual oil change, but I also explained that I’ve been having some issues with my vehicle, including it burning oil and some other concerns. After listening to everything I had going on and learning that I’m getting ready to have the engine resealed, Chance could have simply proceeded with the oil change and taken my money. Instead, he took the time to actually listen, understand the situation, and provide me with a much more practical solution since the oil would ultimately be changed again when the engine work was done anyway. That level of honesty, kindness, and genuine care meant more to me than I can really put into words. Chance was incredibly informative and patient, and I never once felt like I was being pressured into spending money. He truly took the time to educate me and help me make the best decision for my situation. I also want to specifically mention how impressed I was with their knowledge of my vehicle. I drive a Japanese/JDM vehicle with a unique build and a boxer engine, and unfortunately, I’ve had bad experiences in the past with technicians who weren’t familiar with how to properly navigate or service it because it doesn’t fit the mold of a typical vehicle. That was NOT the case here. Ben and Chance weren’t phased at all. They knew exactly what they were doing, knew where to look, and handled everything with confidence. As someone who drives a JDM vehicle, it was such a relief to be somewhere that was clearly knowledgeable and JDM-friendly. I’ve driven past this Take 5 location almost every day for the past four years because I work down the street, but today was actually my first time stopping in. I’m so glad I finally did. They were absolutely phenomenal, and the entire experience reminded me how much a little compassion, honesty, knowledge, and willingness to help can mean to someone. There have been a lot of difficult things going on in my life lately, so having someone show me that kind of kindness and consideration genuinely meant a lot to me. They didn’t just provide a service — they treated me like a person, listened to me, and helped me find a solution that made sense. Take 5 should be incredibly proud to have employees like Ben and Chance. In my opinion, they deserve a raise, company-wide recognition, and every bit of praise they can get. Employees like these are what make people want to come back and recommend a business to others. Thank you, Ben and Chance, for being honest, compassionate, knowledgeable, educational, and genuinely helpful. Words really don’t feel sufficient to express how grateful I am. Absolutely outstanding experience at Take 5 Oil Change! Taj and AJ were both phenomenal from start to finish. They were friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure everything was done correctly. They worked efficiently while still taking the time to explain what they were doing and making sure I was comfortable with everything. You can tell they take pride in their work, and that kind of customer service really stands out. Taj and AJ are a great representation of what excellent service should look like. I came in for an oil change and left feeling like I was genuinely taken care of. These two deserve recognition for the incredible job they’re doing! True to form and their name, I was in and out of there in 5 minutes! David was friendly, informative, insightful, and proactively asked for coupons or discounts. He explained my options along with his recommendations and rationale. He also took a good look around and informed me of some potential concerns while remaining professional and polite. There were no “high pressure sales tactics” and he even gave me more economical options. Highly recommend this location as it is staffed with, knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly professionals!
