Although there were 2 cars ahead of me at around 6:30 pm, along with blazing temperatures and only 2 employees working, I’ve got to give credit where credit is due. The 2 employees worked so well together, they were very professional, as well efficient and they knew what they were doing, despite the fact that they were only 16 and 18 years old. I will definitely go back and hope to get the same 2 technicians.
It took a considerable amount of time more than I was expecting. They were busy and short handed. I was there for 2 hours but I was actually in a bay for 1 hour and 45 minutes. I became a little frustrated when I car pulled in to the bay next to me after I had been sitting there for 20 minutes and the performed an oil change on them first. I talked to the only guy doing the oil changes who was also the store manager and he was very polite and offered me a 25% discount. I’m a veteran and I was already getting the discount but apparently that’s only on an oil change, I also got an air filter so for my inconvenience I received 25% off an air filter. I felt bad for him because he was working non stop really hard but a coupon for the next oil change would’ve been nice. I wish they wouldn’t claim it’s a 10 minute oil change when it never is.
Edited on 7/9/2026: Wanted to update my previous review with a new one. I decided to give yall another chance and not sure if its a new team, but they did a phenomenal job. Jacob and the team answered any questions I had, got me the right replacements i needed and got me a quick oilchange without trying to upsale things I didn't need. Just wanted to make sure I showed my appreciation for Jacob and the guys over there for a job well done! Original post: Completely unprofessional experience and a waste of my time. Waited 20 plus minutes with no one letting me know what the wait was for until I finally honked my horn,The employees were laughing and joking around instead of letting me and the other waiting customer know what was going on and when i tried to call to speak with a supervisor, the number directed me to Florida. I wouldn't recommend using Take 5 to anyone in Granbury. I'd give them zero stars if I could.
