Oct 2026: Ok so I went to Burt Brothers moments ago for an oil change, and I get they are busy etc. But the wait way 3+ hours.... No thanks, I took my keys and drove into Herriman, saw this Take5 and pulled in, gosh literally sat a few minutes, pulled my car in l, stayed in my car and they did the oil change right away. I think less than 20min, in and out. I think I found my new oil change and fluid spot, and its closer to home. And I think cheaper too. Seriously, no complaints today. Thanks Take5
(update, within a few hours of posting my previous review I was called by the shop manager. He very sincerely apologized for my experience and offered me more than enough solutions to make it right. They also ordered me all new ski plate bolts. They definitely have earned my business back and after hearing their side of the story, it sounds like it was a rough evening for them as well. I can understand why I had the problems I did with them overall I am extremely happy with their response to my problem .) I usually don’t leave bad reviews, but I had a terrible experience at this Take five today. I could complain for 10 minutes but I’ll keep it brief. All in all this oil change took just under and hour. During the oil change they had lost the bolts to my skid plate. Rather than tell me about this they decided to zip tie my steel skid plate to my truck. Keep in mind I have a fully built Tacoma that very clearly is taken off-road often and the skid plate definitely shows signs of that. Luckily I had overheard them and made sure they got some new bolts . After the whole hour of waiting and frustration all I was offered was a bottle of water and fruit snacks… at the end of the day I understand that sometimes things take longer than needed but I would have liked to see the situation handled better on their end and some more transparency (especially about replacing bolts with zip ties.)
This was my first Take 5 experience. The staff was very helpful and responsive. The service was great. I appreciated staying in my car and having a water and fruit snacks. I only came in to redo my registration, but I will definitely come back! It may sound weird, but it was also nice to see the CarFax, which seems to be something they do. Oh, and a Veteran’s discount I didn’t expect!
