So moving down to Texas, I haven’t needed an oil change yet. Well finally got to the point where I needed one decided to go here because I love the drive up ones to where I don’t have to get out of my vehicle and I definitely have to give these guys a five star!!!! I wish I would’ve got the name of the guy that was working the computer and talked everything over with me showed me everything. He was just absolutely fantastic for being my first experience with a take 5 thanks to that guy. I will definitely be going back.
Amazing Service! Easy to find. My new-to-me car I commute 1 hr each way in plus weekend trips to & from Tyler started flashing an oil light. I desperately needed an oil filter change and my car needed oil; I burnt it up with 5,000 miles in 6 weeks. They took me right in; no wait. Very Friendly. They were out of economy mixed synthetic oil but there was a coupon on their website and I got out of there for around $75 but I have a smaller car so no extra oil needed over 5. They also told me about coming in at 3,000 miles for a top-off. I am glad and hope that I will enjoy my continued support as I need never run out of oil again thanks to this McKinney Take 5.
Great experience! Last night was my first visit to Take 5 but it won’t be my last!! I know a decent amount about cars, engines, etc. The place I had been going had gotten VERY aggressive trying to upsell things that I knew I did not need - to the point where there was no way I could have ever sent my wife there on her own!! The team I met last night was great! First off, they were all very polite and focused on me the customer! They made eye contact when talking and made sure to explain what my options weee and where they were in the process. Second I noticed that they all truly loved working together! That says a lot - the joking and story telling while they were working was very refreshing compared to other places I have been where it was clearly just a job! Third was their attention to detail. They checked and double checked the levels of all my fluids and then when they closed the hood of my (filthy!!) truck they got a towel and wiped off anything that even looked like a fingerprint!! I doubt I have ever considered an oil change to be a pleasant experience, but I sure did last night!!!
