I went to Take 5 for the first time today, my car sticker was long expired and needed an oil change. Corbin offered me a water (very generous) and took a look at my oil.. said it looked fine, that the oil didn't need to be changed. He showed me the oil on the dipstick, and it was indeed clear. Corbin asked where I got my lube changed previously, and mentioned that the date/mileage on the sticker was likely bumped up so I would come back before actually needing to change my oil. Corbin topped off the rest of my fluids free of charge and sent me on my way. I am very pleased with a trustworthy lube shop, definitely coming back. (BIG thank you to Corbin!)
Lumberton location has a good group of young men that are courteous and offer great customer service. They all seem to have some mechanical aptitude and understanding of the vehicles they service, which makes it nice to know they are more than just guys hired to turn a wrench and dump some oil. Been taking my vehicles there for a couple years and had a great experience every time. Fast, convenient, polite, and good work... can't ask for much more.
Highly recommend these guys. I have used Walmart (primarily) for years (mainly due to cost) but these guys do a great job and they offer a 25% discount to veterans. They also have a 3,000 mile top-off program where you can return to any Take 5 and get your fluids topped off for free (if you are within the 3,000 window). Go check them out. You don't have to get out and can be in-and-out in about 10-15 minutes!
