Oil Change in Humble, TX at 5515 FM 1960 E

I went to Take 5 on 1960 in Houston Texas, for a simple oil change and got so much more. It was just as they said in and out. I had been taking my vehicle to another famous car place. They had told me all these things were completed and I was very much charged for all these services($600+ every trip). However, they lied. Take 5 pulled out a filter that haven't been changed since I brought my car in 2014. My fluids had not been changed or flushed out. Being a woman, I was not aware of these things until Take 5 brought it to my attention. I told them I will be back to Take 5. Simply because they didn't lie to me, nor did they take advantage of me because I am an elderly woman, AND THE PRICES ARE GREAT!!! The customer service was great as well. I was told about credits at Take 5 I didn't know about.

I noticed that the checklist was checked for air pressure and windshield cleaned, but crew had not completed those checks. I mentioned it to the crew member, he looked surprised because someone actually questioned the checklist. He then stated "oh we are about to do it" and he stated "we don't clean windshields anymore". I asked why was it still on the checklist? He couldn't give an answer. I mentioned that I've been a customer for at least 5 yrs. I remember getting it done. Other then that, all went well.

Thanks for taking care of my wife's car, all good, l brought my truck down to do the very same thing with the antifreeze draining and adding, but a service man told me they couldn't do that, your company lost out on that business, had it done at another shop , no problem, but l will use them for my future business as well as my wife's car too, but thanks anyway, maybe your technician didn't understand what l needed done, This happened on January 24, 2026 around noon to 3:pm, black truck.

I was completely satisfied with the services provided. Additionally, I was surprised to find out they provided other services besides "under the hood" work. My technician noticed I was in need of wiper blades, and offered to sell me a pair and changed them out. I was excited and told him I was going to another place to purchase and replace them. I was told there might be a wait due the number of cars ahead of me. I didn't mind because I actually was in no hurry. My experience was a totally good one. Will be back.

I actually visited a different location than the usual one. The tech. that assisted me actually knew his job. The location that I usually get service for my vehicle's have been lying to me all along. I always asked for 15w40 full synthetic and this time they actually advised me that they have never had 15w40 full synthetic just synthetic blend which told me that they have intentionally misrepresented the service they were providing.
