Oil Change in Austin, TX at 1951 E Oltorf St

I’ve used this Take 5 twice and both time they were amazing. Julian is the lead tech and he was very informative and made me feel very secure about the quality of the work they did. Shawn did my last oil change and he was super nice. Jesus and Julian were training Jacari when I went and it was nice watching them give him step by step instructions and how to call out safely. It was affordable and saved me time. 10/10 recommend. 5/8 - Back for another oil change. Jesus showed me my air filter and it was probably way overdue so I went ahead and got it changed also. He was super nice and informative. The service here is always amazing and I will keep coming back.

This was my very first time visiting take5 and my vehicle was taken care by two gentlemen. one named Jesus and the other named Jonathan. they were both very professional and provided me with multiple options on the servicing . i don’t mind paying top dollar for my service on my vehicles but, this time i didn’t expect to spend the amount that i did spend. usually my engine light turns off after the oil change but this time it hasn’t but, perhaps it some thing else’s. Mr. jesus was able to look into my vehicle detail to find out when was the last time i had the air filter changed. i didn’t have that information due to the vehicle being handed down to me. Nevertheless , i appreciated their professionalism and honesty. i am a woman and ppl can take advantage but , they showed me the old filter and then the replacement . they offered me the windshield wipers . i couldn’t afford it at the moment but , even if so, my windshield wipers seem to be working better than when i went in there if that’s even possible lol. highly recommend i would just change locations if anything . that a very busy intersection and traffic is always so bad there . a lot of people , like myself don’t like to sit and wait for others to decide to move with the flow of traffic or block the customers from being able to exit . People don’t obey traffic laws over there about not blocking entries. But overall svc was exceptional . 10/10 just don’t like the location.

Jesus at Take 5 Store #0893 provided excellent service. From the moment I arrived, he was calm, friendly and very helpful. He even offered me a bottle of water and asked what service I needed. He made sure my car was completely taken care of and running smoothly. Then, introduced me to his manager Julian, which I really appreciated. I usually go to the Take 5 in San Marcos, but my car was overdue for an oil change and I'm glad I stopped at this location. The service was quick and professional, and thr customer care truly stood out. I will definitely be coming back.

TLDR: Fast service, helpful and reliable staff (Brian and Jesus), would recommend if you can't change your oil yourself. My partner took my car to get the oil changed here because I was busy at work. They provided excellent service without upselling anything else. They will top up your oil in between oil changes. You only really need to go once when your car reaches the halfway point to your next oil change. They also noticed that my tire pressures were low and filled them without hesitation and charge. My check engine light was also on and they helped diagnose the problems with an OBD scanner and helped point me in the right direction to fix the issues. Would highly recommend, worth it for the money and convenience.

Visiting Austin for the weekend and needed an oil change. Stopped by this location and the service was quick! 10/10! Julian & Johnathon took care of me and my wife flawlessly. Julian answered all of our questions, even served us water before it was our turn to get our oil changed. Highly recommended spot if you’re in need on an oil change!
