Oil Change in Amarillo, TX at 1820 S Grand St.

We stopped at Take 5 on our way back home to Atlanta after driving all the way to California pulling a car, wandering around the desert for a bit (air filter much?!?!), and then turning around to make the long haul back east. At that point, the truck had definitely earned an oil change and was yelling at me to do so. Freeman and Robert were fantastic from the second we pulled in. They greeted us with free waters, were incredibly friendly, and made the whole experience easy and actually fun. I also have a completely irrational fear of driving into oil-change bays. In my head, I am always one wrong turn away from somehow ending up in the pit and becoming the next viral clip on Fail Army. Freeman and Robert were great about talking me through it, guiding me in, and assuring me that I was, in fact, not about to launch the truck into the floor. They were professional, attentive, funny, and just genuinely pleasant people to deal with. After thousands of miles on the road, that kind of service really stands out. Huge thank you to Freeman and Robert for taking great care of us and our very well-traveled truck. If we ever find ourselves passing through again, we will absolutely stop here.

I’ve been going to Take 5 for about two years, and this was by far the best customer service experience I’ve had! Julien and Gibby truly lived up to Take 5’s mission. They used my name, which made the experience feel more personal, and they took the time to thoroughly explain my options and why they recommended certain services without ever making me feel pressured. The only thing I didn’t receive was water while I waited, but that is minor compared to the outstanding service I received. I was actually considering going to a different location today, and I’m so glad I chose the S. Grand location instead! I will definitely continue coming back and will be recommending this location to others. Thank you, Julien and Gibby, for making my visit such a great experience!

I got the high mileage oil change and had to get extra oil because how old and big my SUV is. I think it was reasonably priced. This was my first time ever at a Take 5. I was going to go somewhere else but I also had my two small children in the car. I loved how it was quick and I could stay in my vehicle. They checked everything out for me. They also noticed how my filter in my engine was dirty. They upsold me a new one. I love how they interacted with me and actually walked me through everything. It was a hot day out and they offered me a water bottle as soon as I pulled in and before I left. I’m not from Amarillo and was visiting. I had such a good experience. They opened a take 5 where I am, I’m going to go to them too from now on. Thank you for the amazing service.
