Oil Change in Memphis, TN at 6525 Poplar Ave

I visited Take 5 on 7/1/2026 on a time crunch during my lunch break, and they were absolute lifesavers! The team was incredibly accommodating, getting me in and out in record time so I could get back to work.What really stood out was how much they cared about educating me. The technician took the time to show me exactly what my car needed without any high-pressure sales tactics. I left feeling informed and confident about the health of my vehicle. Highly recommend Take 5 if you are in the Germantown area and need fast, transparent, and friendly service!

They always do a great job. With only one exception. They constantly lose one of my air filter clips when they take out the filter. I come in with 2 clips then leave with one. It costs me 12 dollars every time I get my oil changed just because they show me my air filter. AutoZone does not carry those and I have to buy them on eBay. I usually tell them not to open my air filter because of that. Recently though., the last couple times I used them. I had one person at the poplar location decline to change my oil before a trip from Memphis to Chattanooga because it wasn't due on the window sticker. Another location was able to do it for me.

Great experience at Take 5! I was greeted with a cold bottle of water within seconds of pulling up, which was a nice touch, especially on a warm day. The wait was a little longer than usual, but they were incredibly busy and the team was absolutely busting their tails to get everyone taken care of as quickly as possible. Manager Al came over, made conversation, and was genuinely friendly and welcoming. It’s clear the staff cares about customer service and works hard to keep things moving. Even with the crowd, everyone remained professional and positive. I’ll definitely be returning for my next oil change!

Jarian helped me with my oil top off and coolant changing. I hope the phrasing is correct there. They are so kind. Another young man gave me water when I pulled in and Jarian asked if I need water as well. I think this speaks to the quality of service they give at this establishment. Not only are they quick, but they are also so friendly. Another thing I enjoy about coming here is they explain to me what they are doing and what I need to see for my car yo be healthy. I appreciate knowing and him taking the time to explain.
