Oil Change in Columbia, SC at 7800 Garners Ferry Rd

My experience was great. I stopped by to get an oil change and first thing, I was offered a bottle of water and a nice hello and then asked what service would I like to get. I said an oil change please, Jade was very informative every step of the way. She and the rest of the staff did nothing without discussing it with me first. She showed me the different prices from 89 up to about 130, it was totally up to me which I chose, no pressure. I chose the 126 due to mileage and other reasons. I take very good care of my vehicle and if I can get the best service that is what I want. They asked me if I wanted a tire rotation I respectfully declined it because I get my tires from firestone and I have a warranty on them, there was no pressure from the staff, they did check my tire pressure however. One thing I noticed about them which is great, they show you everything as they go along, a gentleman walked over and showed me my dip stick to show they actually changed the oil. That has never happened anywhere before. I was very impressed. Since you remain in your vehicle you actually can see what is being done. Jade also informed me and showed me that I needed a coolant flush and air filter, she told me it was not needed that day and I could come back at a later date. Again no pressure, just informing and actually showed me the filter and the coolant corrosion. Needless to say I brought my jeep back a couple days later, again first thing the gentleman offered me a bottle of water first off and I told him what I was there for, and I was actually on lunch break so I had minimal time (I did not tell them that part however). They did the air filter and coolant flush and neither time was I there longer than 30 or so minutes. Usually I am at the dealership or another shop for hours to get service done. EXCEPTIONAL WORK AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Thank you so much and I will use their services again if needed in the future!! Thank you Jade, YOU ROCK GIRL!! So I just got my oil changed and I must say I am extremely impressed. This was predominantly an all female staff and I was impressed by their knowledge. Jessica serviced me today. She went above and beyond her duties to make me feel comfortable and ensure me that not only myself but my vehicle was in good hands. She was very funny too. Jokes and a good mechanical service you can’t beat that. I wish I could remember the other staff that were present but they did a phenomenal job as well. This is my favorite place to get an oil change. I will be back again for sure. This was an easy 5 stars. Phenomenal job to the staff. If she’s not a manager Jessica definitely should be.

I was actually having a rough day and I knew I needed an oil change and possibly an air filter and my money 💸. Welp I must say the employees at the shop had me laughing from the time I pulled up until the time I left. They also recommended a coolant flush based on my car’s history and not just for the sake of extra sales. The m glad I did it too. They showed me the old coolant and YUCK!. Don’t forget to check their website for coupons ahead of your service. I highly recommend this location for the quick and friendly service.

Out of my many visits to Take 5 for oil changes, my most recent visit was the absolute BEST! Within 10 seconds of our arrival into the parking lot, we were brought two ice cold bottles of water by the friendliest service manager. We were expertly directed into Lane 1 and the technicians quickly began working on our vehicle. The entire time, we were engaged by Take 5 staff about pricing, product options, and additional services. The service manager even displayed utmost integrity, by commending us on the health of our air filter, rather than needlessly offering a new one, as other companies’ technicians have done in the past. The company’s name and reputation were upheld, when after four minutes our needs were met and we were free to go. Truly, this location (Garner’s Ferry, Columbia, SC) was playing at their best! I came in for an oil change and was pleasantly greeted by Jay. He was very pleasant and informative. He taught me the difference between oils. I would rate his professionalism a 10/10.
