100% Fantastic place of business. I’ve used many, many (Take 5 oil change) places as well as (Val valine), and (Walmart auto centers) and never, ever, have I had such terrific, engaging, intelligent, giddy, quirky, kind, and informative hospitality services before. I was approached (in a line might I add) and before I could place my Kia sportage in park, I was greeted with a welcoming smile and ice cold bottle of water and asked quite kindly for my patience as the finished caring for the lovely customer in front of me. So from the start, I had been out into a great frame of mind, ( which is grand, ‘cause I wasn’t having the best of days, and to top the cake, I had my hot, tired, grumpy screaming almost (2 yo) in the backseat letting me and all within an ear shot, hear his level of unpleasantness! (lol) anywho, quite quickly, I was motioned forward to start my serviceses, and with kind, clear, and patient questioning/requests, I was able to answer all needed information to complete their tasks. Three of the male techs kept at it, while the main tech was gather information from myself, and transferring it to the techs loud, but steady with a sort of confidence that kept my and my worries at ease. They all continued throughout the 10 minute total maybe (due to my not having a recent account with Take 5, and my Kia not being registered, as well as my Engine being newly swapped) to keep me happy and staying engaged in conversation with me. I left (Take 5 oil change) in a way better mood than I entered with! (not just because I got an oil change and was happy lol) but because I was and, am still dumbfounded but the professional level of customer service and history. This is all coming from a mother of a blended family of 10 children and quite and extensive line of different customer service employment background. I recommend 1000/10 to use (Take 5 oil change) in Heath, Ohio, and be prepared to leave feeling great and refreshed. I haven’t even made it 15 feet from the business before I threw my car in park to write this lengthy review. It’s the least I could do. Take care yall and remember, Take 5 minutes to spoil your vehicle and yourself at a whopping low omg price 🫪😁🫶🙃

I stopped in for a routine oil change, and the actual service was solid. The techs were friendly, worked efficiently, and the oil change itself was done correctly. No complaints there — that part deserves five stars. Where things went downhill was the sales pressure. From the moment the hood was up, I felt like I had to decline upsells nonstop just to get the basic service I came for. They performed a coolant density test using a hydrometer — the clear tube with the floating indicator balls. The tech explained that “3 balls up and 3 down” was the ideal mixture, but both my four‑year‑old truck and my wife’s brand‑new vehicle showed the exact same reading: four floating, two sinking. As someone who understands how coolant systems work, that raised a red flag. A hydrometer only measures specific gravity, not coolant age, contamination, or actual system condition. It’s not a diagnostic tool, and it definitely shouldn’t be used as the sole justification for a $125 coolant flush on each vehicle — especially when a brand‑new car shows the same result as a four‑year‑old truck. That felt more like a scripted upsell than a legitimate service recommendation. The staff themselves were polite and clearly overworked, but the overall experience felt less like an oil change and more like being stuck in a sales funnel. Great people, good oil change, but the business practices made the visit uncomfortable.

I was having to get a fast oil change because I had to go out of state for a funeral, I had only a few hours before leaving on this trip. I went to Take 5 for an oil change and so glad I chose going there. Sam and Landon were so helpful in taking the extra step in my needs. I appreciate the personal attention that they gave to me and my vehicle. They corrected the air pressure in all 4 tires. They were over about 20lbs. They leveled out my other fluids. And did it all with awesome attitudes and mannerisms. I was very impressed with the service they gave me. I wish every business had employees that treated me the way Sam and Landon attended to me. It was a pleasure doing business with Take 5. I assure you that I will return to Take 5. Thank You, Mrs. Cindy Whetstone.
