Oil Change in Akron, OH at 980 East Waterloo Road

The gentleman that helped me with service went above and beyond. He was totally honest with me about an over-reactive oil level sensor in my car that has been causing me to think I'm so low on oil that it's damn near empty, going of and telling to check oil level with every turn and acceleration. I was less than a quart low. It had only been a thousand miles since my last oil change and I thought I was burning through oil like mad. He was honest showed me my dipstick and topped it off. That's honest and real customer service! Thank you guys!

They finally talked me into an actual synthetic oil change.... idk if that's a good thing or not buuuuut, it sure does show their skills!!! Lmao. Ps - i drive out of my way to go to this store... its a great, trustworthy, place still & as we all know - that is hard to come by these days. Pss- they alwayssss have coupons. Pro tip, get the coupon and ss it beforeeeee you go... it takes a lil bit (like anywhere from 10 mins - 1hr) to get the text with the coupon. 🤟🤟🧿

This was my second service at this location. My first experience was absolutely five star. This time I could not say that I received even a two-star service. The person in front of me waited even longer than I did. There was a car in the bay that was receiving coolant change and it took 45 minutes for that coolant change plus whatever other services they did. I sat there because I knew I needed to have my oil changed and this was the second trip I had made there. Earlier in the day I waited so long that I left and went on with other errands that I needed to do. I would not recommend this location any longer. I don't know if it's new ownership or new staffing but it was a great disappointment from five stars to possibly generously a two-star rating. When I got to have my turn the staff was very polite pleasant and explain to me everything that was occurring. I just recommend that there be a different system for coolant changing than to hold up everyone in line while they change the coolant. Possibly there was a third bay that was not occupied, maybe they could have put those of us who required a simple oil change in that Bay and got us moving along while someone else attended to the coolant change. There were times when there were three people working on one car and lots of chatter taking place among the staff which appear to be rather inefficient given that there were many people in line attempting to get their oil changed.

Great people were very nice and helpful. Offered beverages while I waited were very respectful and courteous and the atmosphere was nice. Thank you guys for making this normally Mundane task a pleasant experience!

Had a oil change on my 05 Chevy cobalt and now my car feels like it can breathe better filter was replaced as well thank you again
