Oil Change Service US-70 SE

I recently stopped by for an oil change at this location as I had a $20 off coupon. When I arrived, a gentleman came right to my window to ask what I needed. He also offered a cold bottle of water. I informed him what I was there for and he directed me into a bay. Their team started working on my car right away. The guys were polite (hate to say, almost too much). I did have to keep them from up selling items, such as cabin air filter, engine air filter and windshield wipers. When he showed me the price screen for what they offered I was a little shocked, but was already there at that point. I have to use synthetic, but it's normally 60 to 75 at other places I have gone. Even with the coupon, it was $85. I also chose the lowest grade they offered. Other than price, everything went well and they worked fairly quickly.

I stopped by Take 5 Oil Change off Highway 70 in Hickory for a vehicle inspection so I could renew my tags, and the experience honestly exceeded expectations. From the moment I pulled up, the crew operated like a NASCAR pit crew; everyone was efficient, communicating clearly, and completely on top of their roles during the inspection process. The manager who helped me was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain details and specifics about my truck in a way that was easy to understand without feeling pressured or talked down to. After everything was finished, she even recommended a great place to get new tires and gave helpful advice on how to get a good deal if I ran into issues later on. You can tell strong leadership is in place here because the entire staff was sharp, professional, and worked together seamlessly. The environment and quality of service speak for themselves. Easily one of the best service experiences I’ve had in a long time.

The first gentleman greeted me with a bottled water 🥤, guided me into the bay, and immediately made me feel welcome. He was so friendly, engaging, professional, and just all-around AWESOME! 👏😊 And then I met Landon… WOW. 🌟 This young man was incredibly professional, thorough, respectful, and genuinely kind. He explained every single step of the process, made sure I understood everything happening with my vehicle, and went over all the pricing clearly and honestly. You can tell he truly cares about his customers and takes pride in his work. 🙏🚘 Honestly, I work in Quality Assurance, so excellent customer service is something I pay very close attention to everywhere I go. I notice the details. I notice attitudes. I notice effort. And let me tell you — these guys set the TRUE GOLD STANDARD for customer service. 🏆✨ I’ve had some great and awesome experiences at businesses before, but this team? They deserve raises, bonuses, vacations — ALL OF IT! 👏👏👏 Their families should be proud because they are doing an incredible job representing what REAL customer care looks like. ❤️ And can we talk about how convenient it is that you get to stay in your car the whole time?! 🙌 Plus, when I drove away, my car felt SO smooth and refreshed! 🚙💨 It honestly felt brand new again! Experience at Take 5 excellent!!! Always a detailed service when Josiah is on duty! This employee has keen precision for his customers. Josiah should be a model for all Take 5 stations. Oil change done with order and call out. Coolants checked and changed. A wonderful feeling to drive away with clean fluids, clean coolants and a complimentary windshield wash. Josiah and Caleb worked together to accomplish a detailed service for a satisfied & proud customer. It is a pleasure to deal with Josiah and trainees under his leadership. Yooooooooo these dudes be on point...took my daughter car up there for oil change....she got her LR discount.....guy came out with bottle of water.....and did EVERYTHING humanly possible to get price as low as he could....I wish I remembered his name...but about our to him and the whole crew....great experience.. definitely recommend this place..YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED
