Exceptional Customer Service – CJ, James, and Ilijah Went Above and Beyond! Yesterday, I stopped by the Take 5 location in Concord after receiving an urgent warning from my vehicle that I needed to add oil immediately. I had previously gotten an oil change at another Take 5 location, and the very next day, my vehicle alerted me that I needed to add a quart of oil. Unfortunately, I was out of town at the time and had to add the oil myself. Then, after driving less than 2,000 miles, I received yet another urgent oil warning. I happened to be at my son’s school nearby, so I decided to stop at the Concord location, and I’m so glad I did! From the moment I arrived, CJ, the manager, went above and beyond my expectations! He took the time to listen to my concerns, thoroughly explain what could be happening with my vehicle, and educate me about the oil and what my car needed. James was equally helpful, taking the time to explain things and making sure I understood everything. Ilijah was also part of this amazing crew! Rather than simply topping off my oil and sending me on my way, they took the extra steps to address my concerns. They extracted the oil from my previous service and replaced it with a higher-grade oil that they felt was better suited for my vehicle. What impressed me most was their professionalism, patience, honesty, and genuine concern. They didn’t make me feel rushed or like I was just another customer. They made me feel valued and confident that my vehicle was being taken care of. CJ, James, and Ilijah, THANK YOU for turning a frustrating experience into an exceptional one! This is what outstanding customer service looks like. Take 5 is fortunate to have such a dedicated team representing its company. They took the time to find the best pricing options for my specific needs, even asking whether I had any coupons or discounts available. They also clearly demonstrated the differences between the air filters and explained the importance of replacing them so I could make an informed decision.
