Oil Change in West Haven, CT at 1083 Orange Ave.

Stopped by the other day for an oil change. I was met by Julian and Lawrence; these two individuals provided excellent service. Brings a smile to my face when customer service is personable - not just getting an oil change; but also having conversations while being informed. They were prompt and consistent, can’t ask for anything better. They deserve a raise for providing the energy and being a positive impression for ‘Take 5 Oil Change. If the owner of the shop reads this feedback, let them know that they are doing a great job! Acknowledgment goes a long way.

I had the best experience with my oil change! I hate getting oil changes, always feel like they are up charging me and talking down on me bc I’m a girl and don’t know what’s going on, but I had the sweetest two guys helping me the other day! Forgive my descriptions I forgot their names but one was a white male with piercings and the other was a younger black male. They explained everything they were doing and checking, let me ask all the questions I had, and were so patient with me!!! They deserve a raise :))) highly recommend

This place is absolutely AMAZING!! They take such great care of you. You’re offered a water when you start services, and they are soo patient and explain everything…and I ask A LOT of questions. lol. They always give me the best options and explain why it’s better, or if it’s something I even need. They are honest here. I’ve asked about upgrades and gotten most with oil changes like air filter, and the high mileage oil, but when I ask about something that wouldn’t help me out in any way, they've told me “you really don’t need it”, instead of making the extra money. That means a great deal that they aren’t just up charging for no reason. It’s hard to find honest people now a days. It also makes me feel safer to know they care about what they are doing to my car. My kids are in that car. So to see them only trying to do what is necessary is relieving. Every single place I’ve ever gone to in 42 years has always tried to tell me there’s something more wrong with the cars/trucks. Besides family, this place is the only place that makes me feel comfortable. They do everything according to the book and what is recommended for your car. I’ve been going here since they opened, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I’m extremely happy with every experience I’ve had there. They also offer you free fluid top ups for 3,000 miles or 90 days(whichever comes first) and I use that service often.hehehe. I go in there anytime my tires are low or my car needs windshield fluid, or any kind of light comes on. I’m telling you these guys come in clutch! Oh, and the service is soo fast you never get out of the car. It’s called take5 because it takes 5 minutes to change your oil. The wait is never long no matter how many cars are in line in front of me. I like going when they are not busy at all so I can ask the questions I need and make sure they aren’t too busy to answer them. They always make the time somehow. I really cannot say enough about this place. The employees do change occasionally but everyone I’ve met there in the dozens of times I’ve been there was great.
