I had been seeing adds the take 5 did diesel oil service. I was a little hesitant as I have always used a diesel shop for service. But being new to the area I have not found a shop yet and I needed an oil change really bad. I went to get a quote and to feel out how knowledgeable they were in servicing diesels. I got a very reasonable price. I actually was impressed with the techs. This is usually an entry level job in the automotive service world. These guys moved like they would have fit right in at any dealership or diesel mechanic shop. They got me in and out in great time. They took all the additional steps above a standard gasser oil change that a diesel service requires. I don’t know about all their locations, but the team at the Smokey park highway will take care of your diesel truck as good as any pro shop.
**edited to add - manager called me and offered a discount on my next oil change with them. Really exemplary service! Looking forward to my next oil change for once. :) Employees were all really nice & service was quick. I was a bit confused on the $15 coupon. I couldn’t tell if he said I could or could not use it. It wasn’t applied to the final cost, so I was a little disappointed about that.
I've been going to Take 5 for several years and service can be hit-or-miss depending on the location. This location is the exception — easily the best service I've ever had at a Take 5. I was in and out in just a few minutes. It wasn't super busy, but the technician was still incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. This is my go-to Take 5 from now on!
