Oil Change in Springfield, MO at 2340 N Glenstone Ave.

I drove through some water last night, which caused a heat shield on the underside of my car to get loose and start dragging. I thought I'd pull into an oil change place and see how much a repair would be. The kind gentlemen at Take 5 winced sympathetically when the car was noisy as heck in reverse, and then had me pull into a bay to fix it up. They worked on it super quickly and had me ready to roll in under ten minutes, when I pulled away the horrible scraping noise stopped. And they gave me a cold bottle of water, topped off my wiper fluid and checked my engine besides! I asked what I owed them for the fix and he said to just give a five star review so here we are! Amazing service, wish my car needed an oil change and that I was in Springfield to return for more services

On 5/16/26, my wife and I were in the middle a two month RV road trip when the truck came up for being due for an oil change. Up to that point, the only person that had worked on my truck for anything was me. Unreasonably anxious, I told the crew working just that, and asked them to please take their time and do everything with due care - quantities, viscosities, torque values and all. I had not had my oil changed in any of my vehicles in over 25 years anywhere else but by me. The experience there at the shop was impressive, but I wanted to wait until I was back home and did the next oil change before writing this review. Along with the quantity being appropriate, the engine compartment free of spills, and the crew being empathetic and respectful to an owner who prefers to do his own work, I can say based on the change I did today that little things like the oil filter and the oil drain plug were the exact torque value they should’ve been as I’ve removed both from this vehicle several times in the past, which always get torqued to manufacturer specs. Yes, I know it’s overkill, but it keeps everything predictable and serviceable through the years. Thanks to the crew working at this shop for going easy on this old weekend wrench, communicating mutual respect for my concern and dialing everything in just so.

Best experience ever! I don’t live in Springfield, I’m 45 minutes away in Lebanon and was looking for a quick oil change on my drive to Springfield. This place was recommended by Siri so I pulled in and was quickly welcomed by the friendliest guys ever and they handed us both a bottle of water!! I realize it’s just water but gosh I wish all businesses were still this way today! I cannot express how nice and friendly and QUICK they were to service my 2025 Platinum Ford Expedition! I normally do not trust quick oil change places bc of the quality of their people and their products but let me tell you, this one went far beyond my expectations! Thank you, “Take 5 Oil Change”! You have a customer for life! I recommended you to a friend on the phone with me while was there and I will keep recommending you to everyone I know!! We wish you were in Lebanon! 🤩 🤔 🤗
