Just used Take Five on 40 Hwy in Blue Springs, MO for the first time. I was tired of spending hundreds of dollars and a half day's wait at the dealership. My experience was wonderful. They changed my oil, and unlike the dealership, told me my air filter looked fine, and also flushed the coolant for a very reasonable price. My total time in shop for all of that was under 30 minutes. Reagan, the manager on duty, was very knowledgeable, had great people skills, and explained everything to me thoroughly. They showed me how to check my coolant in the future. And all of it I felt was for a very reasonable rate considering other places I've tried. Overall, a great experience. I will be coming back to Take Five in Blue Springs anytime I need service.
The drain plug broke during the removal process. The staff alerted me to what happened. They explained this happens all the time with plastic plugs. They usually keep stock of this part but happened to be out of stock for my visit. The staff apologized for the wait and went to a local parts store to obtain. They comped me a 25% off coupon for the next visit as a result of my wait time. Very friendly and informative. I will be returning for my next oil change.
This is one of the few shops that lets you bring your own oil and then just pay them for the labor. If I was physically capable I would change it myself. But for $35 it’s not bad if you bring your own oil and filter. Great service and professional customer service. I just wish they carried motorcraft brand oil filters.
