UPDATE.10/12/2026 I got a call from the store manager Scott. He told me to come back to the shop and they’ll take care of it. Got in the car went over and Austin handed it. No major damage just a leaf or debris stuck. I appreciate them so much! It is unusual in this day and age for someone to actually respond to reviews and even less than care about what it was. If you want to trust someone with your car trust these guys. I’m going to go back and in the mean time I’ll be talking them up. THANK TOU THANK YOU!! So I just wanted to be upfront about the review. I’m not unhappy with the service except for after the service. I went in for an oil change discovered I needed a cabin air filter and an engine air filter. Guys were prompt and explained everything. BUT about an hour later when I turned my air on high it’s making a humming noise. Now before the filter change there was NO NOISE. I bought the car brand new so never was there a noise. Took it back and Austin was gracious. He checked both but said he couldn’t find anything. I knew it was near closing and everyone wanted to go home so we agreed to drive it for a couple days or so and if it doesn’t go away bring it back. So this review will change based on how this goes. My car is still under warranty so I hope it gets better or gets fixed.
This place has always been good with Customer Service though the turnaround on the amazing employees is high. Every time I go back the nicest people are gone, and there are new nice and professional people thank you all and keep up the good Customer Service and good work! Thank you Scott, Whitt and Austin for your grand customer service you are appreciated it was extremely warm today and you got me in and out in due time. See you all on the next oil service stop. Blessings
I had an outstanding experience at Take 5 Oil Change in Merrillville! The entire team was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly efficient. They explained everything clearly, never pressured me into purchasing anything unnecessary, and made sure my vehicle was completely taken care of. The customer service was excellent from beginning to end, and I truly appreciated how respectful and welcoming everyone was. Fast service, great attitudes, and quality work I’ll definitely be returning and recommending this location to others!
