Had a great experience at Take 5 Oil Change! Trenton was absolutely wonderful—friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and made the whole process quick and easy. He took the time to explain everything without making me feel pressured into anything I didn’t need. The customer service was excellent from start to finish, and I really appreciated how welcoming and helpful he was. If you stop by, definitely ask for Trenton! He’s a great example of what good customer service should look like. I’ll definitely be back for my next oil change!
PJ and his brother JJ worked on my 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz this morning at the Summerville Main Street shop. PJ deserves recognition and added compensation for the manner in which he managed the very busy shop. This is the second time I've been at this location because the service on my Lexus earlier in 2026 was so professional and cheerfully performed. I called Anthony, the store manager and related my positive customer experience and he advised I follow up with a Google review to ensure higher visibility of my accolades. I'm a retired naval surface warfare officer with 30 years of experience at sea working with young leaders and I think PJ and JJ are exceptional representatives of your brand. They're gems. Guard them and promote them when they're ready to move up the org chart. You'll be glad you did.
Everything started well and then when the guys asked me a question about my engine coolant they explained to me that it had never been flushed. I said no problem yeah that’s fine but they didn’t explain the process or how much it would cost. I was under the assumption that it wouldn’t be super costly. When my oil change was done and the guy told me how much it was going to cost I was perplexed by how I just went to get an oil change and it turned out to be threee hundred dollars. I was very frustrated with technician and asked him if they’re was anything he could do to help me out. He gladly helped me out with a discount. I will be returning but I think the summary of this review is to always explain the prices of things that aren’t oil change related and for me as a customer I will ask more questions when I’m adding a service.
