This review is for store 1243 in Leland!! Brandon And Andrew were amazing! I had an oil emergency due to a mistake at another shop. I was on my way to the beach and realized I was leaking oil and almost dry. I was 40 minutes from their store and called ahead because it was already 715pm and I was 40 minutes away. Brandon said come on over we will be here. I pulled into the shop at 754pm and the shop closes at 8pm. Brandon and Andrew were there waiting just as they said they would be. They got me in, corrected the mistake made by another location with smiles the whole time. I know they didn't have to stay open or help me if they hadn't wanted to! I am so grateful and highly recommend this shop. The manager Travis even called me the next day to follow up. I had a great experience!

Had an oil change done during the week, in preparation for a vacation. Get about an hour into our drive this morning and my truck is ticking and not running right. Bone dry, no oil! Hit a Dollar General, add 3 quarts and book it back to Leland (closest place that was open at 8am) and end up at Take5. There were already 2 people being serviced, but we were greeted immediately, offered cold waters, had a quick chat about what was happening, and gave my kids some gummy snacks. He explained that if we could wait about 20 minutes, they would get us checked out. Travis and James are so amazing. Knowledgable, friendly, and very concerned about what the cause of the leak was, and getting us to our vacation destination safely. James even came back with another two drinks, capri suns, and more gummies for the kids. Turns out it was a loose line. Got us straight and back on the road! Travis went above and beyond for us and we are so appreciative. This could have been a really terrible start or end to our vacation. Thank you, give these guys a raise!

The Take 5 in Leland NC, especially the technician James, is always super fast, professional, courteous and strives to make sure I know their findings, what the industry recommends and then they let me decide what I want. The prices are very reasonable considering they are dealing with hot vehicle components without letting them cool such that I can be on my way as soon as possible. Other quick oil change facilities in this area do a good job. However, James’s professionalism and the discount for veterans is my reason for returning to this location for everything outside of the extensive maintenance needs that take more than half a day or specific manufacturer equipment.
