If you have avoided this place for other oil service places with more recognizable names, don't. I went in expecting comparable at best but my expectations were far exceeded. Instead of a fake smile and a rehearsed script I received honest pressure free advice and evaluation. They identified a unique quirk in my engine that caused the other place to make a mistake the last time and informed me of it. Corporate must be doing something different for the employees to treat me like a friend instead of manipulating ever cent they can out of me. By giving me room to breathe and mull over my options I felt comfortable paying for a higher quality oil without feeling like I was conned into it. Try this place and see
This was the best experience ever! I pulled in with my flashers going because my check engine light came on and I couldn’t drive over 10mph. I opened up my hood to check my own oil (because that all I knew to look at) but Shawn came out willing to help me! He was so kind and they even offered me water while He looked at it. Shawn identified the problem quickly, and explained to me what was happening and why it was important. He even fixed it for me right there! He went above and beyond, I am extremely grateful for him to fix my engine so quickly. Thank you!
This was my first visit to any Take 5 Oil Change and I was very impressed. I went to the location at Houston and Donoaldson. I was met at my car door by the attendant who handed me a cold bottle of water even before asking any of the standard questions. First Impression? 5 stars! The entire visit was very pleasant and ended with a rounding chorus of cowbell ringing because I made a donation toward their $2000 goal for the Children's Hospital. An oil change AND a show! Win/win!
