Take 5 Oil Change has a setup that is very efficient! Yet standing alone, this setup cannot provide the service needed. Professional and knowledgable people, like Alex F., put that setup into a performance with great communication and an attention to detail that builds my confidence in the vehicle I’m driving. I’ve had primary care physicians who did not communicate with me nor give me the confidence in their abilities like the professionals at Take 5 Oil Change did with my Jeep! Moreover, I saved HUNDREDS of $$$ compared to the pricing of most well known established dealerships for the same service.

We brought our 2021 Jeep Compass to the New Smyrna Beach location for an oil change. We utilized this location numerous times with all of our vehicles. As usual, we were treated with the utmost respect by the service technician, on this day (Sunday, June 8, 2025) the service technician was Ronald. He was very knowledgeable and thorough with our interaction. The service that was provided was very good. The only drawback was the length of time waiting for service. It was approximately one hour until the technicians began service, and the service time was another twenty minutes. It was a very warm day, and the service technicians were very overwhelmed due to the short staff on duty (as was stated by Ronald) and the amount of vehicles requesting service. As far as remaining in the vehicle prior and during service, it was extremely warm without having the vehicle being on for air conditioning as the fumes would create a potential health hazard to the technicians and occupants of the vehicles. And, not being allowed to exit the vehicle due to insurance regulations as there is no waiting area. We enjoying bringing our vehicles to the establishment for servicing, but there is a need for better management for the technicians working in unstaffed conditions. We will continue to bring our vehicles to the establishment because we enjoy the service and professionalism of the staff, BUT WHY CALL THE BUSINESS, "TAKE 5?"

I was so happy to have been reccomended this place and before i went there i read there reviews and was blown away by all there reviews and i can see why. I usually take my car to Daytona from Edgewater for an oil change i wont say who but i used to pay 275.00 for n oil change i was told it was because he uses a special equipment to such out the oil and my car uses 9 quats of European Syntetic oil. I wont be going back to my mechanic for no more oil change. I felt more elite at take than i ever did at my old mercedese mechanic in Daytona. I saw everything they did even told me yhere was barely any reports registetrd with car fax not knowing what that was. I was educatex by Kayle who took the time to show me n explain it to me. Wow. Is all i can say. Take 5 deserves more than 5 stars highly knowlagable, patient and profeshional business opperation. In todays world its very difficult to find honest decent hard working people you can trust to work on you valuable possessions. Keep up the amazing work.
