(update, within a few hours of posting my previous review I was called by the shop manager. He very sincerely apologized for my experience and offered me more than enough solutions to make it right. They also ordered me all new ski plate bolts. They definitely have earned my business back and after hearing their side of the story, it sounds like it was a rough evening for them as well. I can understand why I had the problems I did with them overall I am extremely happy with their response to my problem .) I usually don’t leave bad reviews, but I had a terrible experience at this Take five today. I could complain for 10 minutes but I’ll keep it brief. All in all this oil change took just under and hour. During the oil change they had lost the bolts to my skid plate. Rather than tell me about this they decided to zip tie my steel skid plate to my truck. Keep in mind I have a fully built Tacoma that very clearly is taken off-road often and the skid plate definitely shows signs of that. Luckily I had overheard them and made sure they got some new bolts . After the whole hour of waiting and frustration all I was offered was a bottle of water and fruit snacks… at the end of the day I understand that sometimes things take longer than needed but I would have liked to see the situation handled better on their end and some more transparency (especially about replacing bolts with zip ties.)
My husband and I popped by Take 5 at 7:05 AM on a Saturday before we headed to the lake, solely because the early opening time was SO convenient and helped us get on the road early. It was our first time at Take 5, ever. Jake & Sierra were so professional, thorough, and kind. They did a great job on our service, told us about a few things to watch for, and got us on our way quickly, which was so appreciated. The price of Take 5 is higher than prepaying for oil changes at the dealership, but the convenience and exceptional service made it well worth it for us. Thanks, Jake & Sierra!
I’ve been to this Take 5 three times and each visit has been extremely thorough. Everything was explained well and I haven’t felt like they’re selling me parts or services I don’t need. The friendly employees make the whole experience very comfortable as easy as possible. I have and will continue to recommend this place to friends and family. Thanks to Jake and all the guys who did such a great job on my car!
