I came in yesterday after noticing the last place that changed my oil wrote my mileage in ink pen which faded in the hot Texas sun. The last place also didn't reset my change oil light. This location was buuuuusy and unfortunately short staffed. No worries, Tametheius stepped up and worked with my personal stressors and made the oil change as stress free as possible. As a native Texan, I'm used to a certain culture and mutual respect. This location delivered respect and fun while they worked hard to get me safe and back to my adventures. I will return.
I had left two other oil places after being told there was a by appointment only list at one and an outrageous high price at the other. Coming in to Take 5 Eddie and Tametheius greeted me with a cold water bottle and probably the most friendly service I have received from an oil change shop. The gentlemen were professional and efficient and by golly was out of there in 5 minutes. Impressive service that will certainly bring me back. My only small complaint was that one of the guys was singing "Karma Karma Chameleon" and got it stuck in my head. .....
David at Take 5 on N Lamar is outstanding. He’s friendly, explains everything clearly, and never tries to upsell unnecessary services. The whole oil change was fast, professional, and stress-free while I stayed in my car. I’ll definitely be coming back and asking for David every time.
