My SUV hasn't been driven much lately, so my oil change notification was time-based instead of mileage. The technician took a look at my oil level and cleanliness, and recommended that I should be able to go another few months before needing to change. He could have done the work and gotten $100+ out of me, but he topped off my fluids, printed me an updated sticker, and sent me on my way. It was refreshing to see someone care about the customer and not just go through the motions to get the cash.
Welcoming and informative- I went in only for an oil change and expected nothing more. Part of their service was to check over other parts of my car and even top off fluids without any extra charge. I knew I needed to buy wiper fluid as I was out but they refilled at no extra cost. I am not a car person, I drive and get an oil change when it dings. They explained everything they were looking at and why, and informed me of all pricing before doing anything. Great team cohesion. After all was said and done I expected to be paying more money, but it was much cheaper than other shops in town that do much less. The on site manager was so kind. I will be choosing Take 5 from this point on. They made the experience very much worth the time & money spent.
All the staff were friendly and helpful. When I first arrived a young man came out, told me I had just a few minutes to wait and offered me a bottle of cold water. The rest of the team did efficient and professional work. They checked my air filter and cabin filter recommending an air filter replacement but saying my cabin filter did not need replacing. (That never happens) Total time from arrival to departure was about half an hour. I'd recommend these guys to anyone. They won't try to upsell you on anything you don't need.
