Ty and his coworker (Horace? Horton? I’m so sorry if I butchered that) on 8/16 were super cool and pleasant! They were laid back, but very professional and explained everything they did before they started working on my oil change. It’s a simple service, and I came in the last hour they were open on a Sunday so I already felt pretty bad about it (service industry workers will understand lol) but they were both in great moods and weren’t pushy about getting me to buy anything I didn’t need. Again, it was a simple oil change but I’m always expecting the workers to push products when I’m really just there to do a quick upkeep and get the service reminder off my dash, lol, WHICHH Ty also showed my how to reset in 12sec. The cars relatively new to me so I appreciated the quick tip.
EDIT: A couple years later and I’m still coming back! Tyquan has helped me during my last two visits, and the customer service continues to be top-notch. I never feel pressured or like I’m being upsold. He simply lets me know if there’s something I should keep an eye on and explains it without making me feel like I need to spend money unnecessarily. It’s honestly one of the biggest reasons I continue to trust this location. Original review: Huge shoutout to Ty for replacing the clips on my skid plate so it wasn’t hanging down. I had no idea until they pointed it out! Service was super fast, I was greeted with a smile and offered water, and everyone was incredibly polite. Prices are competitive, the service is efficient, and clearly the experience has stayed consistent over the years. Still a 10/10 from me!
I visited Take 5 for the first time yesterday. I used to go to the dealership to get my oil changed when I had a car that needed a lot of attention. I was pleased with the service and lack of pressure for things I needed. First off, they gave me a bottle of cold water, which was nice. I went for an oil change, and they recommended I replace my air filters. They were right, the air filters need to be replaced, but I can do that myself. I told them as much, and that was the end of that conversation. I was in and out within 20 minutes, and I will probably go back for my next oil change. The dudes were very nice, especially Tyler, who was the person helping me out.
