Take 5 Gastonia was packed when we visited yesterday. Cars were lined up when we arrived and after we left. The wait time was absolutely reasonable for each car. Once we were in the garage, we asked for an oil change. I was informed that I was due for more than I can afford this week. The technician was not pushy at all. He just gave me the reminder and proceeded with the oil change. We were out the door in 10-12 minutes. Great price and there's online coupons.
I had been going to valvoline for years but kept having awful experiences there and it also took forever. I had the total opposite experience at Take 5 and will be returning as a customer. It literally was 5 minutes as advertised. They were super friendly with me and my child. Reasonable pricing. Offered us cold water bottles upon arrival. Also another thing I appreciated was they reset my sensor that says oil change due without me asking and put a sticker on my windshield so I know when I’ll be about due for another one. Valvoline never reset my sensor or gave me a sticker so my car just permanently said an oil change was due and it was confusing. They also filled up my tires with air and filled up my windshield fluid for me. I was truly impressed with the experience I had. It’s great I have a place I can go like this as I have a lot of kids and waiting long periods of time for basic routine maintenance is not ideal for me. Thank you!
This was one of the best oil change experiences I've ever had! Rylee and Antonio were very knowledgeable about my engine and all its components that needed to be serviced. Antonio and Rylee both made me aware that my coolant reservoir was cracked and needed to be replaced ASAP, and even helped me find the correct part online at Rock Auto to replace it! Excellent service, extremely kind and thoughtful, with super fast service time and care for the customer and their vehicle's health! Would give 10/10 stars if I could 😁
