Oil Change in New Hartford, NY at 4794 Commercial Dr.

I received an Oil change, engine filter change and a coolant change and the service was amazing. They are very thorough and attentative to the vehicle and changed everything with care. They explained the process and every step to me as they were doing it and I didnt even have to get out of my vehicle. When my card was having trouble processing my payment the manager himself was willing to take me in thier personal vehicle over to a local ATM to get cash needed to pay for my services. Definitely will be back for the convenience the price was definitely understandable!

I needed a basic oil change quickly. After stopping at a few other quick change places who talked to me like I was an idiot with one referring to me as "little lady", I stopped here expecting the same. It was not. They were fast, thorough, respectful and kind. When I declined an upsell they didn't continue to pressure me or trick me, which was so refreshing. I got to stay in the car and they gave a basic explanation and update as they were doing it. It only took a few minutes but they still did a leak test and showed me the dipstick where it was full and clean. It was awesome and I will never bother going anywhere else. Customer for life.

Thank you New Hartford, NY I’ve been coming to Take 5 Oil Change since I lived in North Carolina, and one thing I always appreciated was the honesty and customer service. Unfortunately, with prices going up everywhere, what used to cost me around $40 is now closer to $60. Even with that, I still choose Take 5 because of experiences like the one I had today. Kevin, the manager, went above and beyond. As a woman, it can sometimes be hard to know whether you’re being given honest information about your vehicle, and too many places take advantage of that. Kevin did the exact opposite. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered my questions without making me feel talked down to, and made sure I understood what actually needed to be done versus what could wait. I never once felt pressured, misled, or like someone was trying to sell me services I didn’t need. What stood out most was that he genuinely cared about making sure my vehicle was safe to drive. His honesty, patience, professionalism, and integrity gave me peace of mind, and that’s something you can’t put a price on. Great customer service isn’t just about changing oil. It’s about building trust, and Kevin absolutely did that today. The rest of the team was friendly, efficient, and professional as well. They worked together, kept a positive attitude, and made the entire experience quick and stress-free. In a world where it’s becoming harder to find businesses you can truly trust, Kevin and his team reminded me that there are still people who care more about doing the right thing than making an extra dollar.
