I can honestly say I have had a better experience at the Merrillville location. When I went the group seemed unprofessional. They couldn’t explain to me why the price had changed and the difference for the change in full synthetic oil. I had to ask once I reviewed the receipt if they added air and they haven’t, or how they didn’t clean the windshield, or how they didn’t top off any fluid. The paperwork also said they serviced my trans and you can’t even access my trans while doing an oil change, but it’s on my receipt. And after I left I realized they hadn’t rest the oil light and had to go back. I guess I will try a different location next time or try to go early in the morning and hope for a better experience
First time getting oil changed in a shop after years of having it done by family. The team at Take 5 Merrillville was so very friendly, knowledgeable, and very fast. They made sure I knew how much everything was before doing it. The owner even went above and beyond helping me reset my oil change notifications. They're definitely going to be my oil change shop from here on out.
Today I stopped by for an oil change and I was greeted right away. They gave my daughter fruit snacks & juice box and a water & candy for myself. I thought that was very kind. The guys did a great job with my oil change and they explained everything as they did it. The process was quick. I will definitely be returning again.
