so ive had this rattling sound in my car for a little over a year now and i always asked everytime i got my oil changed i would ask if they knew what that was and they didn’t. ppl at take 5 in peoria and pekin both told me it was something i would prolly have to go to my dealership for. brandon and kameron did my oil change and after everything was done and i turned my car on and off once he told me that the rattling noise i hear when im in idle is my flex pipe bcuz its completely combusted. i literally gave up asking ppl if they knew what the sound was cuz nobody could ever tell me. THANK YOU BRANDON. brandon was very nice and showed me my air filter which was very clearly being eaten by mice. bcuz i told him i live in the country he offered to check my carbon filter thingy too and lo and behold it was disgusting! got it changed too, thank u brandon again. i love pekin take 5 it never feels like yall r just tryna get money out of me it feels like yall genuinely want me safe on the road.
Take 5 Pekin has friendly service and they get you in and out! They even provide water if you're thirsty while you wait. My favorite part is how they explain things in plain English (very helpful for us non-car people). I hadn't been to this location for a couple of years, but I was pleased to see that it's open and active! I highly recommend Take 5 in Pekin for busy people who forget to schedule car maintenance!!
Oil change was quick and painless. My son is using a wheelchair and it was nice to NOT have to get out of our vehicle and entertain him in a “waiting room”. Jeremy and Tyler were on duty and were very polite, informative and quick to get the job done. Very thankful to have a place like this.
