Oil Change in Melbourne, FL at 3065 W New Haven Ave..

I purchased my 2025 Buick used this past Feb, it only had 14,000 miles on it so it was basically new. Since I reached the oil change mileage mark sooner than expected, I chose to take my car to Take 5 to get the oil done ASAP as opposed to make an appointment with maintenance dept at my dealership… then wait for my scheduled date. Dwayne was my tech, and he was an absolute rockstar - he explained to me that I was completely out of coolant, which could have really ended badly had I not gone in when I did. He took a photo to show me so that I understood exactly what he was talking about, and he topped off my coolant just enough to get me through a week, giving me the opportunity to get into my dealership. I recently moved to Melbourne, FL from Clearwater, FL - I’ve always had great experiences with Take 5 - and this occasion was another one to add to the “Awesome” file - Dwayne was genuinely concerned for my safety, super compassionate, and extremely thorough in making sure I understood exactly what was happening (what could potentially be happening) with my car - I believe his words to me were “Now, I do not want to pass by a lady in a white Buick broken down on the side of the road…” Let Dwayne know that this morning (the day after) I had my car serviced by the dealership and I am officially A-OK with my oil, my interior air filter, and now my coolant :). My initial visit did not yield a good result because my driveway had large droppings of oil when I went back home. So I went back to the service station and I met the assistant manager Chloe and the technician Josh, and they took care of the issue. They were honest about their findings and apologetic. They gave me soap to clean my driveway. At the end of the day we all make mistakes but how it is handled subsequently is what matters for me. I am going back with confidence. I stopped by because I was in the area and I had a great experience! I was handed a bottle of water on a hot day which was nice and the employees were polite, courteous and quick. They did some complimentary work like filling the air in my tires, cleaning the windshield, filling up fluids, etc which I appreciated. I was recommended a service based on what my car needed, but I was not pressured to purchase it or any other service/upgrade. I would say that I think the employees deserve to have more fans put up in the shop for them working in this FL heat during the summer (just an observation, no one complained about anything) Thanks again for the awesome service guys!
