Oil Change in Phoenix, AZ at 1818 W Baseline Rd..

Pulled into Take 5 expecting the standard drive-thru oil change routine: a line, a sigh, and somebody pretending not to notice the car I’m driving. Instead, the whole thing was surprisingly smooth from the first second. First off, the crew actually looked at my car and not in the “what the hell is that?” confused way you get at some shops. They knew it wasn’t your everyday sedan and made a point to mention it. A few comments, a couple nods, and that little moment of respect that’s rare in automotive places these days. Always good when people appreciate the machine for what it is rather than glaze over and tap keys like they’re checking in a rental. Service itself? Fast. Quicker than I expected, and quicker than I had time to mentally prepare for the bill. They kept communication straightforward, what they were doing, what was being topped off, no pressure add-ons, no dramatic list of “critical issues” designed to scare a customer into spending. Every step was clean, efficient, and professional. The pricing was surprisingly reasonable. Still not cheap, because nothing involving cars ever is, but $132 for nearly six quarts of full synthetic is basically the going rate nowadays. For the speed and the service quality, it didn’t feel like I got fleeced ,which is honestly the highest compliment an oil shop can get. All in all, solid experience. Friendly staff, quick turnaround, and they treated both me and the car with respect. I’d go back, no hesitation.

I came here right after leaving the Take 5 on 16th Street and Southern because they were dragging ass and just weren't doing a good job. This location was a completely different experience. They were fast, attentive, and topped off all my fluids. Overall, they did a pretty decent job. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is that they advertise complimentary fluid top-offs and tire pressure checks, but they never checked my tire pressure. It wasn't a big deal to me because I usually have Discount Tire handle that anyway. I just think if you're going to offer something as part of your standard service, then do it. Otherwise, don't advertise it. Other than that, I was happy with the service and will probably come back.

This is for the location on baseline and 48th. I highly recommend this location. My husband took our car in today with our kiddos. Kiddos came back super happy as they gave them little treats and drinks. Mario, Darian, and Blake took real good care of our car, checked everything, replaced oil and was very fast. We will continue to go to this facility! Thank you guys for exceptional service!
