Oil Change in Phoenix, AZ at 3437 W Bethany Home Rd.

It was 114 degrees outside but these folks were doing oil changes in good spirits covered in oil and sweat. I was pleasantly surprised when my mechanic came over and told me my oil looked good still, but I already knew that. Some places like this have a bad rep because they would tell you that you need more than what you truly need but she tried to save me from spending unnecessary money changing my oil. I explained to her that my car is pretty old so I try to keep up with the minor maintenance to prevent larger issues. She nodded understanding and got right to work. My car said it felt like 119 degrees and even though we were only there for 15-20 minutes it did indeed feel like 119 lol. However we were happy to wait because as I said to the mechanic “not all heroes were capes.” I gladly tipped $60 for the 3 mechanics to split and they of course appreciated it. As a veteran it is nice to see how others serve their areas with honor. Thank you guys again. I’ll see you soon!

Cruz really helped me out he took a look at my coolant and found that I needed to get it flushed and exchanged. Last place I took my car to said there was no issues but Cruz and team took the time to truly look into it since my car kept alerting me and found that the coolant was mainly water. I appreciate the care. Thank you guys!

I always go to the dealership for service appointments but I decided to make an appointment at Walmart service center, so I go in for my appointment and Walmart tells me that I must go purchase an oil filter and engine filter and cabin filter from another store and bring it back to Walmart, Because they were out of stock of what I needed, yet they're still going to charge me the same amount in the package with no deduction of the $70 I just spent at O'Reilly's getting the parts that should have already come with the package deal, so essentially I'd be paying double. So instead I took my butt over to Take 5 and Anthony and Kaine treated me so well that I'll never go back to the dealership nor will I ever go back to Walmart. Anthony and Kaine have made me a lifelong Take 5 customer. They were both very professional, very kind and friendly, they showed me everything they were doing and they even taught me a few things about my car that I needed to know. Huge appreciation to those two guys, they were amazing and my car is super happy now! This is to you, Kaine and Anthony - y'all deserve a raise for how awesome you are.
